The facelifted Vauxhall Antara
Hot on the heels of the 2011 Vauxhall Corsa facelift comes another Vauxhall facelift to graft the family nose on to the 2011 Vauxhall Antara. And it does look better for it. The front end of the Antara gets Vauxhall’s new grill with logo – just as the 2011 Corsa does – whilst the SE models sport a new set of fog lights.
Sky's 3D pub channel will this weekend host the premiere of a 3D film showing David Coulthard driving the Mercedes SLS supercar around the Isle of Man. Click here to see the making of the 3D Merc SLS video.It was shot using a second SLS carrying a brace of 3D camera gear bolted to the back. After Sky's premiere, CAR Online will show the film here this autumn.Sky's 3D channel shows in 3000 pubs (click here to find your nearest pub). Renault is aiming to take its in-vehicle user interface modules to the next level with the new R-Link tablet system announced at LeWeb 2011 today, December 7.
R-Link features a seven-inch tactile screen, steering wheel-mounted controls and voice recognition systems. It is simultaneously connected to the vehicle's information and data center, the user's mobile phone and to the Cloud. The company claims that the bespoke UI features interactive and intuitive menus, which enable users to access all the car's functions and data easily.
